Welcome to OffPlanner ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile details when you create an account.
  • Profile Data: Bio, vehicle information, and avatar images you upload.
  • Route Data: Routes you upload, plan, or save on the platform.
  • Communications: Messages and feedback you send to us.
  • Route legality check: When you check a GPX, KML or GeoJSON file with the route legality check, the file is read in your browser and only a simplified line of the route is sent to our server. We check it and store neither the line nor the file.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Location Data: General location derived from IP address. We do not track your precise real-time location.
  • Session Recordings: With your analytics consent only, an anonymised replay of how you moved through a page - mouse movement, clicks and scrolling. Page text is masked before it leaves your browser, and account settings pages are excluded, so recordings contain no email address or other account details.
  • Free check limit: To count the one free route legality check without an account, we keep a hash of your IP address made with a secret key, never the address itself, for 30 days.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process your account registration and manage your profile.
  • Store and display your routes, vehicles, and other user-generated content.
  • Send you service-related notifications.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our platform.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate our platform - hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), bot protection on forms and on the route legality check (Cloudflare Turnstile), image storage, and email delivery.
  • Analytics Providers: Only if you consent to analytics, usage data is shared with Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.), Amplitude (Amplitude Inc.), Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corp.) and Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd.). None of these receive your name, email address or password. Decline analytics and none of them are loaded at all - see our Cookie Policy.
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law or to protect our rights.
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information.

Some providers are established outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
